We hold great pride in doing the best design we can. 

The main purpose of the SURF SPRING was to give a second life to this amazing enclosure. We found them in a pretty bad shape tucked away in the rear of an old shop, originally intended as an outdoor alarm box for homes, they were manufactured in France around 1962 and sold by Eugene, who operated a small company named 'Bicalarm' near Paris. The stainless steel is from a formidable quality and their distinctive shape channels the industrial charm of the early sixties effortlessly, we thought it had so much potential for a second chance we took them all (a lot !). However, due to years of poor storage, we had to refurbish them entirely.  We managed to salvage a limited quantity of colored ones (in orange and blue; there was even a gold-topped one but none of them made it). Each SURF SPRING underwent meticulous polishing technique to restore its original brushed finish, eradicating blemishes, and layers of old paint. Our graphic design approach was equally deliberate, ensuring the inherent character integrity of the box would stay intact and make it as if it could have been a real product manufactured "industrially" in the early sixties.
